HOW IT WORKS

Data and assumptions

Block values: totalSupply() and totalBurned() are read at the exact block hash. Burn is the difference between two linked block states. All transactions count; no wallets are excluded. Raw values remain integers.

Txpool: A WebSocket feed of new entries from the selected node. This is not the complete mempool. An empty list only means there are no outstanding entries observed here.

Simulation: Each transaction is inspected through accounts/*?revision=next. Intrinsic gas is added. Ordering, dependencies, refunds and later state changes can change the result. Legacy transactions have no burn estimate because proved work is not included.

Live line: Every second, the line combines 35% of the mean burn of the last twelve blocks with 65% of observed estimated pending burn. Unchanged data produces a flat line. This incomplete estimate is not a mined block value. The live point stays fixed horizontally while columns move left at ten seconds per block width. The pending trace stays before BUILDING; a mined block value meets its box at the left entry edge. A new Best Block smoothly replaces the estimate with actual burn; column odds stay fixed. Movement stops at the boundary until the next block has begun. The second point assumes maximum gas refunds: at most half the clause execution gas, excluding intrinsic gas. The shaded area is conditional on the same execution path and base fee, not a confidence interval.

Odds: Smoothed samples from up to 64 blocks available before the betting cutoff. Near-term forecasts also include observed estimated pending burn. Base multiplier = (1 − quote margin) / model probability, capped at 12×. New payout = 1 + 25% of the positive base profit: 3× becomes 1.5×, with a maximum of 3.75×. Model probabilities are not reduced by this payout factor. Pending burn has less influence for more distant target blocks; remaining seconds within a block are not modelled. Quotes freeze when first shown. Uncalibrated and not manipulation-resistant.

Boxes: At most one box wins per block: lower bound inclusive, upper bound exclusive. Zero burn never wins. New columns use finite 1.5 VTHO bands; scroll vertically to see higher bands. Previously shown columns and existing bets retain their original ranges and odds. Connecting lines do not trigger wins.

Platform P/L: All stakes in a column − gross payouts for the actual outcome − assumed gas costs for all bets in that column. The example book uses synthetic stakes. Your paper bets lock their multiplier and gas cost. Each click places the selected stake, up to five bets per box. Your balance includes only your own paper bets; profit is payouts minus settled stakes. Open stakes appear separately. Sponsored gas is charged only to the platform.

History: Example odds are reconstructed without using later blocks for their probability. These are not real historical bets or a validated backtest. Outcomes settle immediately through Best Block. A change to the canonical block sequence triggers recalculation.

Scope: Real-money betting, contract deposits and session signatures are not implemented. No transactions are submitted.
